— In light of the recent "End of Windows 10" (Endof10) campaign initiated by the KDE community, Orlovsky Consulting GbR would like to clarify its position and reaffirm its unwavering support for users looking to transition from Windows to Linux. The Endof10 initiative, launched by KDE community, is a commendable grassroots campaign aimed at helping users smoothly migrate to Linux as Microsoft phases out support for Windows 10.

Orlovsky Consulting GbR, an independent and vendor-neutral IT services provider, fully supports this vision and has long been an advocate of open-source solutions and digital sovereignty in all areas of IT fields.
As part of our ongoing mission, we have been offering free or low-cost support to users considering the move to Linux.
In an effort to extend our support, we submitted a merge request to the Endof10 website, proposing to list our free services as a migration aid.
Unfortunately, this request was declined, and the interaction with the KDE community manager Joseph P. De Veaugh-Geiss did not meet our expectations of professionalism and openness as like normaly happens in other opensource projects.
While we regret the tone and manner of the exchange with KDE community manager Joseph P. De Veaugh-Geiss, our commitment to the broader goal of supporting Linux adoption remains unchanged.
We continue to believe in the power of community, transparency, and collaboration, even when individual interactions fall short of those ideals.
We want to assure users that our team remains fully available to assist anyone interested in making the switch from Windows to Linux. Whether you're an individual user or an organization, we are here to help make the transition seamless and successful. For more information about our Linux migration services, please visit our meetup group or connect with us through our official Facebook group.
Together, let’s build a future where everyone has the freedom to choose.
